We have also been talking about our experiences and traveling. But you don't have to go far to take a great trip. Some of you have mentioned some great experiences that you have had in and near Athens.
Directions
Pretend a friend from home is coming to visit you in Athens on a Saturday. He or she has never been here before, and you want to show them some interesting places. You have the whole day to do whatever you want. Plan an itinerary (schedule) of where you would go, including the times that you would arrive and leave each location.
Hint: Check online to make sure that these places are open when you want to go!
Make sure to include the following in your blog:
- The name of each place you plan visit
- The address of each place you go to
- The hours of operation for each location you visit
- A description of the location you want to go to -- What does it look like? What will you do there?
- Directions from one place to another. Check out Google Maps to get walking or driving directions.
- The actual times you would arrive and leave each location.
- Try to find a picture of each location online to make your post more interesting!
- Try to use the present perfect to talk about things you hope to do in the future. "I have always wanted to go to...."
